In his first cookbook, Maurizio Oster opens the door to his private kitchen and shares the dishes he serves at home: for his family, for friends, or simply for himself. For the Michelin-starred chef, these are two different worlds: the creative work in the restaurant, where he experiments with new techniques, and cooking for his family, where he clears his mind and creates emotionally charged dishes. <\/p>\n

“Die gro\u00dfe Freiheit” brings together his most personal recipes: uncomplicated, made with simple ingredients, and with a knack for what really tastes good. Favorite dishes from his childhood appear alongside his own creations, along with ideas for entertaining guests, snacks for on the go, and dishes for fans of his fine-dining cuisine. Simply put, these are recipes that promise maximum flavor with minimal effort. <\/p>\n

At the same time, he takes his readers on a journey through Hamburg. Photographer Elissavet Patrikiou accompanies him to his favorite spots, such as the harbor and the Hamburger Dom, to his restaurant ZEIK, and, above all, to his kitchen at home. <\/p>\n
